Grade 5 As a provocation, Rungta International school students were presented with the most famous mosaic arts of the world in line with the 3rd and 4th line of inquiry (Appreciation towards art and Personal preference of arts ) . They were asked to identify the various art pieces , mark them with stars if they liked it or not and also try to identify the patterns formed as a math integration . Based on the teacher's question - do you like what you are seeing ? This provocation will further lead the inquiry to reflect on their personal choices of art forms and appreciate the aesthetics in art .

EYP Celebrate Dahi-Handi Event at Janamasthami

 Janamasthami is always celebrated in EYP with great enthusiasm but this time it was more of learning too. 
Apart from the traditional attire and Dahi-handi event, we had Pandit 'Vikas Anup Sharma' telling us stories and teachings from Shri Krishna's life.
Kids enjoyed listening to the stories in the most vibrant atmosphere that was set up in the school auditorium.

Grade 5 students of Rungta International School attended a workshop for basic elements of arts conducted by 'Mr. Welson' (Graffiti wall and 3d art expert ) for conceptual understanding of 'Form and Function' . Students tried their hands on the basic blending of colours and how to use the brush without any structural composition . This workshop was arranged in collaboration as a learning engagement to the ongoing unit - Art and Social Conflict .
