Grade 5 Students of Rungta International School today as in the 'finding out stage' set out, within the school community, to collect data about the most preferred goods and services that others would want to enjoy on November 3rd 2018 ( Market day) as part of their culmination of the ongoing unit.
The data collected would be analysed, synthesized and concluded as 5th graders would decide their final product and stalls for that day.
This learning engagement was conducted to grasp the IB key concept of 'Function' and to understand the role of demand and supply in any economy.

Grade 5 students of Rungta International School Focusing the 2nd line of inquiry 'Distribution of goods and services ', students today were provoked with the Teacher's question - From where do the rice that we have everyday come from ? Based on this, students wrote their reflection on a bubble and past it in the provocation board.
This engagement will drive the inquiry into line of inquiry based on the key concept- 'Connection ' to understand various distribution network and supply chain within the Economy of a country. Other learning outcomes include Natural resources produced and supplied by all Indian states and the importance of such channels.
