Grade 5 Students of RIS How to use photography as an art form and to find answers to express ideas

Grade 5 - As a learning engagement with regard to the 2nd line of inquiry, a workshop for elements of photography was arranged for grade 5 students of Rungta International School.They were engaged in the IB key concept of " Function " to find answer as to how photography can be used as an art form and to express thoughts .They grasped the technicalities of an image capturing by a camera ,how a camera is mounted, how to choose the subject based on self interest and why is it important to understand the subject before capturing it's image.

This workshop organized by 'Mr. Shishir Das' and 'Mr Abhishek Bharos' definitely proved to be an eye opener for those students who now know the world of photography beyond themselves and the groupists.

An Essay Writing Competition on the subject given Indian culture, space exploration and healthy lifestyle was organized on August 24, 2018 from Grade 3 to 5 of Rungta International School . Competition in school helps in developing students' energy and creativity while they develop skill skills. Present your ideas clearly through this engagement. Participants were given 40 minutes to write their essays. It successfully achieves its intellectual and provides effective expression.
